JACET VICPOL

Cheryl GOAD has been a member of Victoria Police since 2007, becoming a Detective in 2013. She commenced her investigative career investigating sexual offences against adults and children as part of a Sex Offences and Child Abuse Investigation unit where in 2015 she had the opportunity for a secondment to VicPol JACET. It was here that Cheryl found her passion in combatting crimes against children online and in 2018 returned in a permanent capacity. Since that time she has been involved in an array of successful investigations involving both online and physical offending against children. Cheryl�s experience also includes an 18 month secondment to the VicPol JACET Victim Identification Team.
