GOAD

Cheryl GOAD has been a member of Victoria Police since 2007, becoming a Detective in 2013. She commenced her investigative career investigating sexual offences against adults and children as part of a Sex Offences and Child Abuse Investigation unit where in 2015 she had the opportunity for a secondment to VicPol JACET.

It was here that Cheryl found her passion in combatting crimes against children online and in 2018 returned in a permanent capacity. Since that time she has been involved in an array of successful investigations involving both online and physical offending against children. Cheryl’s experience also includes an 18 month secondment to the VicPol JACET Victim Identification Team.
