HARRISON

NSW Police Forensic Psychologist

HARRISON

Zoë qualified as a Forensic Psychologist through the UK Prison Service. She previously worked as a treatment manager for the high-risk sex offender treatment programs, cognitive skills programs and completed risk assessments and individual treatment for life sentenced sexual and violent offenders. Zoë moved to Australia in 2016 and started working with NDIS participants who had psychosocial disabilities and had offending behaviours before joining N.S.W Police Force in 2020.

Zoë will present on working with our counterparts in the USA to build profiles (similarities and differences) in male and female sadistic offenders who engage in monkey torture and the risk they may present to children. How this behaviour relates to risk of recidivism and the impacts on legislation and monitoring these individuals in the future.
