Mikaela Jago is Senior Capacity and Prevention Coordinator at ICMEC Australia, working with public sector partners to strengthen responses to child sexual exploitation. She leads the SaferAI for Children initiative, which brings together experts from government, academia, and civil society to shape child-focused AI policy. As a 2024 ASEAN-Australian Young Leader and 2025 US Consulate Sydney Youth Advisory Councillor, Mikaela has a background in International Relations as well as advocacy, strategy, and cross-sector collaboration.
