Homeland Security Investigations

Jake Marquis has been a Special Agent (SA) with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) since 2020, based in the Frederick, Maryland field office. SA Marquis currently is assigned to an Inter-agency Child Exploitation and Persons Trafficking (INTERCEPT) Task Force and investigates individuals who sell live streaming webcam shows involving the sexual abuse and exploitation of children to paying customers worldwide. SA Marquis also has broad experience in investigating transnational criminal organizations dealing in the movement of narcotics, weapons, and money.

Prior to working for HSI, SA Marquis was a Deputy Sheriff, in Frederick, Maryland for 14 years, and a Security Forces member in the Air National Guard for 6 years.
