Michael McGonigle is currently assigned as the Director of Special Projects for The Child Rescue Coalition (CRC). In this capacity, Michael is working on a first-of-its-kind program to assist law enforcement in identifying worldwide child sexual offenders who are involved in the purchasing of live-stream child sex abuse shows and child sex tourism in developing countries.

Prior to his time with CRC, Michael was assigned as the Resident Agent in Charge for Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Portland, Maine. In this capacity, he was the supervisor for all HSI investigations and operations in Maine where he managed a team of special agents, task force officers, and criminal analyst. Under his leadership, HSI Portland Maine prioritized investigating victim-based crimes and Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs) involved in Human Trafficking and Child Sexual Exploitation. Michael’s team specialized in running a world-wide operation targeting child sex traffickers in the Philippines and worldwide child sex travelers.
