Tristan is an experienced solutions consultant at Magnet Forensics, leveraging over 30 years of experience in digital forensics. Starting his career as a police officer with a lifelong passion for computers, he established the first dedicated computer forensic lab for his force in 2001, setting a new standard for law enforcement technology. With a master’s degree in computer forensics, Tristan spent 16+ years as a digital forensic examiner, specializing in the investigation of complex child sexual abuse cases in later years. As an experienced computer forensics trainer, he transitioned to Griffeye on retirement from law enforcement, where he developed and delivered Griffeye courses before joining Magnet Forensics as a full-time consultant. Now, he works directly with clients worldwide, advising them on media examinations and enterprise solutions—helping organizations to stay ahead in the fight against cybercrime and child abuse.
