PEACOCK

Belinda Peacock is currently employed by the QPS as a Senior Research Officer in the Specialist Investigations Training Unit. She served as an operational police officer from 2010 to 2024, specialising as a Child Protection Detective.

Her policing role has provided her with a range of experience investigating serious and complex child abuse matters, as well as extensive knowledge and skill in investigative interviewing and communication. Academically she has undertaken a Bach Psyc (Science), a Grad Dip Psych Advanced and is now a PhD candidate with the University of Sunshine Coast. Belinda is passionate about contributing practically and academically to child abuse prevention.
