Seeing Less, Knowing More: Machine Learning for Investigator Well-Being

The subject of this presentation is a confidential, law enforcement only, investigation tactic.

This presentation will focus on innovations that Thorn has introduced in its Solis darkweb investigation tool over the last 12 months. Solis' support of investigators, victim identification specialists and intelligence analysts makes it a unique resource for law enforcement,

The innovations added to Solis include the addition of AI Classifiers providing insights into the sexual content, nudity level and maturity of individuals depicted in CSAM. Additionally user-research driven improvements to the interface and search capabilities that significantly approve investigator's ability to visualise and gather relevant information to inform their insights sooner.
