Former paramedic, Julien has been a Police detective in Geneva, Switzerland for more than 25 years. He's currently working in the "Group 80" of the Computer Crime Unit, the team responsible for combatting Online Child Exploitation.
He spent half of his career doing usual detective work in units like the Juvenile crime squad or the Fugitive squad and at some point realized he wanted a different challenge. That's how he ended up in the Computer Crime Unit as a digital forensics investigator and lawful interception specialist.
For the last 5 years, he's been working as an undercover agent online in the CSE field. He's also member of the small Swiss team that sends leads around the country following P2P investigations.
He's a member of the VCACITF and participates in different international groups of online undercover investigators.
