Dee Nicholas is the Helpline Coordinator for Stop It Now! Australia, where she brings together academic knowledge and practice experience in offender rehabilitation and prevention to oversee the operational and clinical delivery of the service. In her role, Dee supports and supervises a team of experienced practitioners delivering specialist intervention and prevention services.
Dee holds a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from Newcastle University, UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She previously worked with Stop It Now! UK, where she developed extensive experience in child protection and sexual offending prevention. Throughout her career, Dee has worked across a range of forensic and clinical settings, with particular experience supporting individuals with complex needs. Her background includes roles within correctional services as an Interventions Facilitator, legal services, and education settings supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including neurodiverse individuals and those with developmental needs.
