John Penn II is Sr. Architect, Law Enforcement Technologies at Adobe. With over 40 years of experience in software development and nearly three decades at Adobe, he has worked across both deep engineering and global public sector engagement.

After attending an early Internet Crimes Against Children conference, he shifted his focus toward applying technology to support law enforcement and child safety efforts, a mission that continues to define his work today.
He collaborates with law enforcement agencies worldwide to develop and advance tools, techniques, and training for victim identification, digital forensics, and investigative workflows.
