Gerrard Ivins leads Uber’s Public Safety Liaison function across the Asia-Pacific region as Head of Public Safety Liaison, APAC. Based in Sydney, his role integrates extensive criminal investigation experience — including prior service as a Detective Sergeant in the NSW Child Abuse Squad — with a deep commitment to safety. Gerrard manages a regional team that works closely with law enforcement and regulators to support the safe use of Uber’s platforms, appropriately use data to respond to lawful law enforcement requests, and help identify and address potential threats.
